Experience the rich German heritage of Gillespie County at the 3.5 acre Pioneer Museum Complex in downtown Fredericksburg.
Several times a year, the Pioneer Museum will hold events staffed by docents in period dress that are fun for the whole family including storytelling, rope making, soap making, sheep shearing and more.
Prior arrangements required for special tours of other historic homes and sites owned by the Gillespie County Historical Society.
Admission is $7.50 for ages 18 and up; $3 for students ages 6-17 years; age 5 & under are free.
