Inwood Estates Winery and Bistro offers hand-crafted boutique wines from Texas grapes produced by Texas’ first vineyards. Inwood wines are produced and cellared according to the highest standards for as long as three years in French Oak and sold by 200 top restaurants and sommeliers in Texas.
Since 1981, Inwood Estates has established itself as the premier producer of wines from the Spanish Tempranillo and Palomino grape varieties in the United States, as well as extraordinary cabernet and chardonnay, and operates three wineries: one in urban Dallas, one at The Vineyard at Florence and one in the Texas Hill Country. Fruit for its renowned Palomino-Chardonnay is grown in and around the Dallas area including the original Inwood Road Vineyard in urban Dallas. Fruit for its acclaimed red wines is grown on the Texas-New Mexico state line at an elevation of almost 4,000 feet.
Inwood wines were awarded both first- and second-place at the Texas Taste-Off of 2009 where only two wines were submitted and judged by wine writers from across America. Robert Parker also has listed Inwood Estates among about 50 wineries most “Worth Discovering in Canada and the Other 46 States.”
