The Hill Country Alliance, the Hill Country Land Trust, Texas Parks and Wildlife and the Friends of Enchanted Rock, among others, will be joining forces to host the Wild and Scenic Film Festival at the Fritztown Cinema in Fredericksburg. The film screening will showcase seven award-winning short films that highlight adventures in remote wilderness, the stunning beauty of the natural world and a variety of pressing environmental issues. Audiences will be transported by the incredible imagery of Alaska’s wild and spectacular Brooks Range, to the parched sections of the Colorado River, to the habitat of the iconic monarch butterfly. The event will include speakers, door prizes and giveaways. It will be a family-friendly affair- so bring the kids! Reserve your tickets now. The first 100 attendees will receive a $10 gift certificate to Whole Earth Provision, with locations in Austin and San Antonio.
Doors open at 6 pm; show at 6:30 pm.  $12 per person.
