Enjoy a memorable getaway with the entire family. Watch the blacksmith at the forge or make a rope. See handworkers quilting and spinning or make a “knot” doll. Visit our one-room school house and learn about country schools of the past. Share stories of the past with Red Rovers and Buffalo Soldiers. Early Texas Frontier presenters provide hands-on activities for kids ages 6 to 12. Music, storytelling, games, German Pioneer life interpretation through handwork demonstrations, doll making, cooking, German language lessons, Native American interpretation through stories, dances and handmade items. Parents must accompany children.

10 am to 4:30 pm. Closed Sunday. $5 per person; $3 for school age children; kids 5 and under are free.
