Apr 28 2017 to Apr 29 2017 Two days of continuous Living History featuring Military, Frontier Lawmen, Native Americans and Civilians representing the fort’s active time period with special events for children. Friday is School Day with planned activities for School Groups (including Home Schoolers). Pioneer Crafts, Musicians, Story Tellers and more. Each day visitors will experience Flag Ceremonies, Military Drills, Life in a Frontier Texas Camp and numerous displays, Sutler Store, Pioneer Cooking and Pioneer Crafts. Something for the entire family. Fort Martin Scott Days promises to be full of history and fun. It is a day to step back into the past and enjoy life in a simpler time.
On Friday there will be free admission for anyone under 17. Although the day will be attended by school groups, it is also open to the public.
10 am to 5 pm. $5 adults; $2 children under 17; children under 6 are free. School groups and leaders are free.
