Admiral Nimitz Foundation Distinguished Speaker Series w/Gov. Greg Abbott

Add to plan Remove from plan

The 48th Governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, will be the guest of honor at this year’s Admiral Nimitz Foundation’s Nimitz Dinner. Abbott continues to build on his long record as a conservative leader who fights to preserve the values Texans hold most dear — faith, family and freedom and whose vision for a better future is founded on economic opportunity, education excellence and limited government. Building on the success of his first two years in the governor’s office that made Texas freer, stronger, safer and smarter, the Governor is committed to forging an even broader path to prosperity for all Texans in the 85th Legislative Session.

Prior to his election as governor in 2014, Greg Abbott was the longest-serving Attorney General of Texas. He and his wife, Cecilia, have been married for 35 years. She is a former teacher and principal, and the first Hispanic First Lady of Texas. The Abbotts have one daughter, Audrey, a college student.

The event will start at 6 pm and will be held at St. Mary’s Parish Center. Tickets start at $250 for individual seats and include a cocktail reception, dinner, and remarks by Governor Abbott. By reservation.
