The Rock Star Festival is a celebration of the beautiful starry nights supported by Enchanted Rock’s International Dark Sky Park designation in 2015 and Texas Parks and Wildlife’s ongoing Dark Sky Initiative.

The event will begin at 4 pm with talks, exhibits, and kid’s events. The Star Festival will culminate with a Moonless Summit Hike, led by ERSNA Park Interpreter, Scott Whitener, a Constellations Tour led by Bill Wren and Ken Kattner, and Star Party hosted by Hill Country Astronomers. The event is planned to end by 11:00 pm. Joju Bakery’s wood-fired pizza and Sweet Marley’s snacks and drinks will be available to purchase.

4 to 11 pm. Park entry is $7 per person age 13 and over; children age 12 and under are free. Admission includes access to all activities which start in the afternoon and run into the night.
