Johnny Nicholas’s 19th Annual Big Band Bash. Dinner shows and concerts with big name artists. Johnny Nicholas himself is a world-renowned bluesman and former Asleep at the Wheel lead singer and writer. Over $60k in the form of college scholarships, workshops and band instruments for Fredericksburg performing arts students has been raised from past events. The event takes place over four days and includes killer food and a special mystery guest headliner each night. All events take place at the Hill Top Cafe. Performers include The Texas Horns, Scrappy Jud Newcomb, John “Morocco” Chipman and Carol Fran. New this year is a Sunday Gospel Brunch with Walk Wilkins and Kelley Mickwee.
